Counting down.
Had a BBQ(braai) at the boss's place, with the rest of the team, yesterday afternoon/evening. Tried to play down the leaving thing, in case i may need a job back there again. But everybody else, kindly no doubt, insisted on talking about our plans, in front of the boss - to vicariously anticipate the travels too.
Two months to go!
Starting this diary ahead of time to include all of our exciting (for us) and daunting preparations for our grand tour of Asia.
Both rucksacks have now been purchased, along with some ultra flattering trekking trousers for Becky. This weekend we sent both of our passports in for visa processing - when they are returned to us we will hopefully have Russian, Mongolian and Chinese visas in them. Then we'll just have to get the Belarussian one sorted out...
